Particle Foam Is
Just Getting Started.

Where particle foam already plays an important role, and where advances in mold technology and foams are opening up new applications.

From the Road
to the Sky

Particle foam is already on the road and in the air in countless industries. Its light weight, recyclability and exceptional insulation are bringing it into more and more applications. And rightly so.

Automotive

Light, Safe and Quiet on the Road.
Thanks to Particle Foam Innovation.

Particle foam plays a key role in the mobility of the future: it replaces heavier materials, combines several functions in a single part and can be recycled as a single material. We build the molds that turn sustainable lightweight concepts into parts ready for series production.

  • Battery pack of an electric vehicle, the cell modules sit in particle foam holders and insulation

    Battery and Thermal Management

Particle foam parts hold battery cells in position and protect them, insulate against heat and cold and save weight. This helps extend the range and service life of electric vehicles.

  • Front end of a vehicle, the particle foam crash absorber visible through the bumper

    Crash Absorbers

In bumpers and side structures, particle foam absorbs impact energy and protects the occupants. After minor impacts, EPP largely springs back to its original shape.

  • Vehicle interior with the door open, door trim and center console with particle foam components

    Interior Components

Seat shells, headrests or door panels: inside the vehicle, particle foam combines low weight with comfort and shapes that fit precisely into the interior.

  • Wheel arch of a vehicle with a particle foam wheel arch liner for sound insulation

    Sound Insulation

Wheel arch liners and insulation parts made of particle foam reduce driving and rolling noise. In quiet electric vehicles, these acoustics become a noticeable mark of quality.

Logistics & Packaging

Fits and Protects.
Whatever It Is.

We build molds for transport trays, reusable load carriers and protective packaging that enclose your product precisely and reliably protect it against impacts. The low weight cuts transport costs. At the same time, recyclable single-material solutions meet the growing demand for sustainable packaging.

Heating & Ventilation

One Material for
the Energy Transition

Heat pumps, ventilation units, insulated buildings: a large part of the energy transition takes place in building services. Particle foam insulates against heat and noise, is lightweight and can be molded into complex housings. We build the molds for it and support our customers in a field of application that keeps growing.

    Noise and Vibration Damping

Particle foam housings and inserts make heat pumps and ventilation units quieter and reduce vibration.

  • Ventilation unit and pipework in the plant room, insulated with particle foam moldings

    Pipe Insulation

Molded particle foam parts enclose pipes, lines and fittings precisely and, thanks to their insulating properties, keep heat loss low.

    Refrigerators and Appliances

In refrigerators and other household appliances, particle foam insulates against heat while holding components in place.

    Building Insulation

Insulation boards and molded parts made of particle foam reduce the heating demand of buildings, from single-family homes to commercial properties.

Sports & Recreation

Made for Life

Helmets, seating or toys: particle foam combines low weight with protection and cushioning. It absorbs impacts, springs back into shape and stands up to heavy use. That makes it stable enough for a piece of furniture and light enough for children’s hands.

  • Lightweight Design

In aviation, every gram counts, because less weight means less fuel. Particle foam offers high stability at minimal weight.

  • Fire Protection

Strict requirements for flammability and smoke development apply in the cabin. Technical particle foams with a special FR treatment meet these requirements.

  • Dimensional Stability

Temperature changes, pressure differences, constant vibration: high-performance foams stay dimensionally accurate even under these conditions.
